| The Mauian Hotel property was experiencing major signal disruption from adjacent hotels. Together, Streakwave and Lava Barrel suggested the following solution: - Aruba Networks Instant Access Points with an integrated virtual controller; - Backhauls using 900 MHz equipment; - Appropriate weatherproof enclosures with integrated antennas; - Aruba Networks "Airwave" software for network monitoring and management. After installation, the connection quality was improved by 90% or better and they now achieve aggregate throughputs of 60-70Mbps. |
