| Today we look at the D-Link All In One Mobile Companion (DIR 505). In this review, we show how the D-Link All-In-One Mobile Companion (DIR 505) actually saved us about $60 a night while on vacation. We review lots of gadgets, but for this we wanted to show how a gadget could really save you money in the real world. On our trip to Costa Rica, the hotel was charging $15 a night for internet access. That did not seem that bad at first, but then we realized that was $15 PER DEVICE. With 2 iphones, an ipad, 2 laptops, an iPod and Nintendo 3DS - that would have been an insane $105 a night to get internet for all our devices! Instead we pulled out the D-Link DIR-505 and created our own secure Wi-Fi hotspot and just had to pay $15 a night to have ALL our devices connected.
