| This video is about testing the Edimax EW-7811Un on my friend's laptop computer in Linux Mint 13 to show him how to use it. The EW-7811Un works automatically in two Linux distros so far and those are Linux Mint 13 and Sabayon 8. I have got the device to work fine with the BerryBoot OS loader on the Raspberry Pi. This Edimax EW-7811Un nano wifi adapter is one of the main wifi adapters that people use for the Raspberry Pi and it works on any computer. It works in Windows, Mac, and Linux. The box mentions this operating system compatibility and the CD that comes with the wifi adapter even has open-source drivers for the device written in C. The Edimax EW-7811Un costs around $10 and I bought mine on Amazon. Here is more information about the device. |
